Wigan Athletic is delighted to unveil a brand new 1988/89 Retro Shirt, in partnership with Heinz and The Terrace.

Latics battled throughout a hard-fought campaign in 1988/89, earning survival in Division Three following a seven-match unbeaten run at the back end of the season. The likes of Nigel Adkins, Peter Atherton, Don Page, and Neill Rimmer all starred, with the latter joining young and upcoming forward Josh Stones in modelling the remastered retro shirt. 

The stunning traditional blue and white home shirt, which has been manufactured and produced by The Terrace, features the sponsor of Heinz, who will be reigniting their partnership with the Football Club. 

Heinz, who featured on the front of some of Latics' most iconic kits, has helped the Football Club improve the Family Zone and will be working with Latics on community initiatives moving forward. To mark the partnership, the Club has provided complimentary tickets for all Heinz staff for Latics' upcoming home game against Bristol Rovers. 

The shirts, which are expected to arrive in May 2024, can be pre-ordered online. Priced at £40, supporters can get the shirt in sizes Small to 5XL!
